April's Newsletter
Greetings!

As I indicated in my March newsletter, this newsletter will be a good deal shorter!  I started not to send one this month, due to all the activities with our beautiful weather, but decided to reduce the number of articles to one or two, so I could send out  the updated list of events!  If this isn't what you want to see, please let me know!!!
"Gallop to Freedom" by Frederic Pignon & Magali Delgado

Gallop to Freedom
As you may know, my wife, Donna, and I have been followers of Cavalia since we first saw it in Houston several years ago.  Since that time we have seen this beautiful equestrian show four times, and were awe struck with the performances of Frederic Pignon and his wife Magali Delgado.  Frederic is best known for his Liberty performances, and plays with up to five Lusitano stallions at one time!  It is absolutely amazing to watch Frederic's interaction with these stallions, and to feel the bond he has developed with these beautiful animals.  His wife, Magali, is a champion Dressage rider, and to watch her perform with her white Lusitano stallion is also breath taking!

For years, I have been following these two exceptional people, and have tried to learn anything and everything about them, and recently a very good friend of mine told me about their new book (available on Amazon.com), "Gallop to Freedom".  I ordered a copy as soon as I could, and was very pleased, because it is almost like a personal interview with Frederic and Magali, where you get to ask all your questions!  In this candid interview they tell you how they started, what motivated them to expand their relationships with their horses, and what they have gained from this experience!  Oh yes, the pictures alone are worth the price of this book!

I would highly recommend this book for anyone and everyone!  I think you will be so spellbound that you will find that you can't put it down!!!  It is an easy read, very interesting, and very affordable!  Also, if you do decide to get a copy of your very own, I'd love to hear what you think of it...

Need Help with Your Natural Horsemanship Studies?

Excel & Mickey

Mickey can show you how the power of Natural Horsemanship will make you a better rider no matter what discipline you prefer.  You will learn the importance of being a good leader for your horse.  You will gain an understanding of how horses think and will become better equipped to eliminate common behavioral problems.  You will develop a partnership with your horse that begins with groundwork and carries over into riding.  And, as you get more sophisticated in your natural horsemanship, you will see a difference in both you and your horse.
